Mold used forblister packages production:

Gypsum mold

It is mainly used for fast prototyping. It is relatively low in cost and easy fast to build.

Copper mold

However, Gypsum mold is less durable. If we need mass production, we need a type of copper mold. This mold has a layer of electroplated copper. The mold cavity is filled with gypsum. The mold has copper outside and gypsum inside. The cost is relatively low. It is widely used in thermoform blister packages with relatively large quantity.

Aluminum mold

Aluminum mold is a type of mold with high precision and most durable. Firstly, designers make a 3D engineering drawing for the project. Secondly, mold builders will use CNC will machine the aluminum block, based on the drawing, to get a high accurate tooling mold. Aluminum mold has beautiful appearance and durability. The mold is usually built to vacuum forming blister packaging products with large quantity and high-grade requirements. However, its cost will be a little higher.

4. PS — environment-friendly material and easy for flocking

Mostly used in inner packing for cosmetics, wine bottles and electronic products.

5. BOPS — high strength and rigidity, super clear, eco-friendly, good toughness

Mostly used in oral liquid tray, injection tray and various food tray, with good appearance display effect and resistance to impact.
